Imvelo was founded in 2010 solely for the purpose of expanding and getting involved in implementing and participating in environmentally friendly projects. The chosen project being Solar Heating Power. being compliant and equipped in the installation of Solar water heaters through registration with the major stake holder, being Eskom, training on solar water heater installation and sourcing of suppliers etc. Imvelo is one of the major role players in the solar water heating industry and being one of the major participants as a BBBEE partner.
Established in by Dumisani Msomi who is currently the managing director of the company and is also overseeing the operations of the business, has been doing this since 2004 (Singila Properties CC). He has extensive experience in various aspects of construction and project management
