Greetings!
I am a 60 year old former Regional Trial Court Judge and a resident of Oslob, Cebu which is 117 kilometers southeast of Cebu City, Philippines.
I intend to run as Mayor of Oslob, Cebu this coming May 2007 elections and our town Oslob consists of around 13,000 hectares, 7,000 hectares of which is classified as timber land with no visible timber or plants thereon.
Around 3,000 to 4,000 hectares of the 7,000 hectares classified as timber land can be planted with Jatropha Curcas for biodiesel purposes under the government's program known as Socialized Integrated Forest Management Agreement (SIFMA) for a 20-25 year lease from the government.
In order to qualify, the individual or corporate applicant must have a capital of not less than P25,000 per hectare for the development of the area.
Since I have no capital, I am therefore looking for a joint venture partner who is interested to develop 3,000 to 4,000 hectares of the aforesaid timberland for Jatropha Curcas plantation. |
