As a result of changes in Bulgaria and its orientation towards a market economy since 1997 Elprom ZEM is a private company in the group of Industrial Holding Bulgaria. The owner of a controlling stake ZMM Bulgaria Holding.
Elprom ZEM currently develops, manufactures, delivers, assembles and performs repairs as needed, to clients at home and abroad following electrical machinery:
* Low-voltage asynchronous electric motors, up to 660 V
* High-voltage asynchronous electric motors, 3 and 6kV
* Vertical asynchronous electric motors, rated power output 250 up to 1600 kW
* Synchronous electric motors, rated power output 250 up to 2000 kW
* Synchronous electric motors, rated power output 400 up to 3160 kW
* Vertical synchronous electric motors, rated power output 5000 up to 9000 kW
* Synchronous brushless generators for stabilized voltage
