Supported with his technical background and trade experience, Ger decided to establish his own trade-company,
HTB-v/d Hurk Technische Bedrijven, in 1982. With HTB he focussed on the domestic market with the supply
of tools and heavy-duty equipment to the building industry and consultancy in the field of plant management. (On invitation of the World Bank, HTB were several years member of THE WORLD BANK-BIOS, furthermore were HTB priveliged member of the European Community in Brussel.)
For trade on international level, Ger established MSI – Marketing and Supplies of Industrial equipment. So far MSI conducted export projects in the field of landscaping, water-treatment, irrigation, solar-energy, food and heavy-duty equipment. Various projects have been executed in Abu Dhabi, Belgium, Egypt, Germany, Libya, Swiss, and Tanzania.
