Israeli
designer, Avihu Zur in 1988, as a small
workshop, making artistically silver
jewelry.
Along the years, the studio has
expanded
and his artistic expertise has
diversified.
These days, "Musiam Jewelry" is
manufacturing both silver & gold
jewelry;
our jewelry is handmade with sterling
silver, sterling silver plated in gold
(vermeil),
14k gold, semiprecious gemstones,
freshwater pearls, natural beads and
mainly
fragments of ancient Roman Glass.
We specialize in creating jewelry that
incorporates ancient glass from the
Roman
Period. The breathtaking shards of
glass in
our jewelry are date from 100 BCE to
300
CE. They were unearthed in Israel by
archaeologists sifting through the
fallen
pillars and once magnificent cities of
the
Roman Empire. Musiam jewelry is made
in
Israel by a small group of handpicked
master craftsmen.
