This is Kemal Sahin, owner of Armor Orthopedics located in Istanbul, Turkey. I would like to present to you our company if you can spare some of your valuable time.
Our company was established in Istanbul in 2006 as a distributor of medical devices. During the time of our existence in the medical sector, we found that there is a strong tendency towards Turkish Soft Orthopedic Supports and developed our company into a manufacturer company in 2011.
Within such a short time like one year, we succeded to export 70 % of our production to 27 countries so far, such as France, Bulgaria, Moldova, Lebanon, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Libya, Syria, Israel etc. Our target for the year 2012 is to increase this number by 50 %, at least. In our 600 m2 production plant we employ 26 staff. Our production capacity has reached 15 thousand pieces, monthly.
From July 2012, we have been producing metal walking aids such as crutches, walkers, commode chairs and wheelchairs, as well.
