As compared with A the toughness of WA is slighter lower, but it has a higher hardness and better cutting ability. Abrasive tools made of it are suited for grinding of hardened alloy steel, high-speed steel and high-carbon steel workpieces and cutters. In addition, WA of finer grits can be used for precision casting.
