Properties of calcium
hypochlorite: Granular or white
powder, strong chlorine odor, its
solution is yellow-green
transparent liquid, commonly

bleaching powder
Uses: Calcium hypochlorite is
mainly used for pulp and cotton,
hemp&silk fiber fabric bleaching,
also used for urban and rural
drinking water, swimming pool
water sterilization. Also works as
wool anti-shrink agent,
deodorant and etc class 5.1
dangerous goods.
Packing: 50 kg /plastic drum,
with polyethylene plastic bags
lining, 18 tons/ container or 24
tons/HQ.
Applications:
A) For bleaching purpose of
cotton, hemp, fiber, pulp and
starch
B) Disinfection and water-
treatment
C) Disinfectant for chemical
poisonous
Storage: Keep it in dry, cool and
ventilating place, avoid insolation,
far away from fire and heat. Do
not mix organic substance, acid
and reductant.
